Bus route No. 34 to be extended as of October 14

Taking into account the initiative of Stopiņi district council and local residents, bus route No. 34 will be changed as of October 14. After this date, the bus will run from terminal along Garā Street and will be extended to the city centre, and there will be also a new schedule on this route, accordingly. The terminal of bus route No. 34 in the city centre will be located near the Central Market, where the terminal of trolleybuses No. 3 and 13 is located now.

These changes will improve the transportation for residents of Saulīši residents to the city centre, as well as connection between Pļavnieki and Krasta Street.

Buses on route No. 34 will run as follows:

From terminal in Saulīši in Cidoniju Street, Garā Street, Lubānas Street, Augusta Deglava Street, Ilūkstes Street, Akadēmiķa Mstislava Keldiša Street, Andreja Saharova Street, Lubānas Street, Slāvu Street (across Slāvu bridge, passing by Slāvu rotation circle), Krasta Street, Puškina Street, Gogoļa Street, Turgeņeva Street, Prāgas Street, Gaiziņa Street to the terminal of trolleybuses No. 3 and 13.

From terminal Central Market in Gaiziņa Street, Gogoļa Street, Turgeņeva Street, Krasta Street, Slāvu Street, Lubānas Street, Andreja Saharova Street, Akadēmiķa Mstislava Keldiša Street, Ilūkstes Street, Augusta Deglava Street, Lubānas Street, Garo Street, Cidoniju Street to the bus terminal in Saulīši.

In direction of the city centre – terminal Saulīši, Cidoniju Street, Strazdiņu Street, Ozolu Street, Meža Street, Kaivas Street, Baltinavas Street, Liepiņas, Ulbrokas Street 13, A.Saharova Street, Sesku Street, Akadēmiķa M.Keldiša Street, Rudens Street, Pļavnieki-2, Ilūkstes Street, recreation centre „ Lido”, T/C Krasts, T/C Mols, terminal Central market.

In direction of Saulīši – terminal Central market (passengers get on in Gaiziņa Street), Trade centre, recreation centre „Lido”, Ilūkstes Street, store Pļavnieki, Rudens Street, Zemes Street, Sesku Street, Ilūkstes Street, A.Saharova Street, Ulbrokas Street 13, Liepiņas, Baltinavas Street, Kaivas Street, Ozolu Street, Strazdiņu Street, Cidoniju Street, terminal Saulīši.
